The holy month of Ramadan began yesterday in India after the moon was spotted. The month-long festival will conclude on June 14. Yes, we are counting days till Eid. We earlier shared with you how Bollywood celebs wished their fans on Ramadan. Now, here is Varun Dhawan wishing you all and ringing in the festive spirit in an unusual way.
In a video posted on Instagram, the actor is seen wishing his fans and revealing that he, too, is observing fast for the first day of Ramadan. He added that his gym trainer and everyone else at the gym is also doing the same. Then he went on to show an insane exercise, working out on his core muscles – which he called Ramzan special. As we all know the actors is getting his body in a sexy shape for his upcoming film, Kalank.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief.
This won’t be the first video that Varun has posted from the gym in preparation for Kalank. On May 8, he tweeted a video of himself working out in the gym. “Night training for ‘Kalank’. After years I have got a character for whom I am very excited to train for. Try this only once you get used to the movements. It’s taken me sometime to master this. Keep your core engaged at all times. P.s. that the new mission impossible theme playing,” [sic] Varun wrote alongside the video.

Kalank also stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Abhishek Varman will direct the epic drama, which will hit screens on April 19, 2019. The film will be jointly produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. It is co-produced by Fox Star Studios.
